Delete your Picacho account

You can delete your account and everything in it at any time. Here is how, and exactly what happens.

From the app or the website

  1. Sign in to Picacho.
  2. Open Settings (in the app it is under More), then the Privacy & data tab.
  3. Under Danger zone, choose Delete my account and type your username (or your email address) to confirm.

Can't sign in?

Email hello@picacho.ai from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll confirm it's you and delete the account within one month, as the GDPR requires — usually much sooner.

What is deleted

  • Your account and profile
  • Your characters and their reference photos
  • Every image and video you generated, and anything you shared to the community
  • Your uploads, projects and notes
  • Your notification devices and preferences

Delete only some of your data

You don't have to delete your account to remove something. Sign in, then:

  • A picture or video: open it in History or Media and choose Delete.
  • A character: open it and choose Delete this character. Its reference photos are deleted; the takes you made with it stay in History until you delete them.
  • One photo of a character: open the character, tap the ✕ on the photo, then Save character.
  • A post you shared to the community: Settings → Privacy & data → Shared to the community, then Remove.
  • A note or a project: open it and choose Delete note or Delete this project.
  • A connected Google account: Settings → Security, then Disconnect.

When you delete a picture or video, the file is deleted at once. A record of the request (its prompt and settings) stays with your account so your monthly usage stays correct, and is erased when you delete the account.

Anything you can't delete yourself — a video you uploaded to upscale, for example — email hello@picacho.ai and we'll delete it.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account cancels a subscription bought on our website. A subscription bought through Google Play must be cancelled in the Play Store (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions) — Picacho can't cancel it for you. Once that subscription has ended, the account can be deleted.

What is kept

Records of payments stay with the payment provider — Stripe or Google Play — as the law requires. Anonymized traffic records that can't be linked back to you may be kept for analytics.
